"In silence"- Aquatic
The images here are from my second solo- exhibition, also at Gallery Gathe. I called it " Aquatic", obviously because these are taken underwater. I only had the picture "Portrait # 1 " ready when I was asked by Marianne Gathe, the gallery owner to get the project finished and ready for show only 6 months after the talk. A huge challenge but a great test on my work discipline. I decided to study the human body in water with its limitations and strenghts. With the great help of the models I set out to pursue the challenge. It took roughly 20 - 25 visits in the pool to create the project. I finished the project in the 6 months and had a wonderful experience in the gallery with the reception of the images. One of my most fun experiences as a photographer despite the fact that I can not swim.
